Wigwam
is
quickly becoming a national name synonomous with walk in wig
boutiques, carrying a comprehensive range of styles and colours to suit
all tastes.
In 1993 Wigwam opened in the exclusive Powerscourt shopping centre, in
the heart of Dublin 2.Initially the shop was a favourite of fashion
stylists, hairdressers, models and the national and regional theatres.
However the word got out and soon the fashionable public were
accounting for most of the sales.
The owner, Lynda Murphy, had seen the need for wig boutiques, selling
and renting alternative hair, for fun and fashion, for ladies hair
replacement during cancer treatments and aloepecia and in support of
the arts and theatre in Ireland.
