Rentals have always been a popular option at Wigwam for fashion stylists, theatres great and small and the public in general. For this reason we allow designer fashion wigs and hairpieces as well as party wigs and costumes to be rented for varying periods of time.

To the public the average rental time is 24 hours at a daily rate of € 50.00 per wig or hairpiece. The daily rate of rental of a costume only is also € 50.00, and it is € 75.00 for a costume, including a party wig. Theatre and hourly rates are quoted individually.

A security deposit is also required to the balancing value of the goods. For callers to our branches a current credit card holder can leave a deposit as a signed imprint of his/her credit card, which will be destroyed on return of the goods in reasonable condition as outlined on our rental form. This form will also need to be signed.

A post dated cheque with a current bankers guarantee card, or cash are the only other security deposits accepted. You are effectively responsible for the goods until their return to the shop.

Some customers renting wigs or hairpieces decide to buy them. If you decide to keep the same piece we will discount the rental you paid if you authorize us to process the balance of payment on the date the goods are due for return. Goods, which are late for return, will be charged at the daily rate as per our terms.
